About Lincs HPS

The Lincolnshire Group of the Hardy Plant Society was established in 1989 and has grown to become the largest regional group of the HPS with around 300 members spread across Lincolnshire and into neighboring counties (you can be a member of more than one HPS regional group if you wish!). In order to join Lincs HPS you first have to become a member of the national Hardy Plant Society. For more information about joining HPS please see our Membership pages.

Monthly Meetings

The main activity that our members enjoy are our monthly meetings held on the fourth Saturday of each month between September and April. Held at  William Farr School in Welton and starting at 2pm unless otherwise stated. It's best to arrive early in order to browse the plant stall which we have at most meetings!

Click here for more information about our Meetings.

Annual Plant Fair

In May we have our annual plant fair where, as well as a large members plant stall, we are supported by many specialist nurseries from around the region. With a low door fee and keenly priced, unusual plants this is becoming a not to be missed event for gardeners!
Our next Plant Fair will be on Saturday 16th May 2020

Other Activities

As well as talks our group also arrange interesting workshops, trips to gardens and an annual group holiday.
Keen growers and propagators might also be interested in our Plant Conservation scheme and Seed Packing for the national Seed Distribution Scheme
